Grinchmas 2020

 

I'm sure most of you are like us and you are in full Christmas mode.  We are having a blast celebrating the Christmas season.  Carson is five and everything is magical to him.  We are loving every minute of it.

We have gone to see Elf in the theater, Clyde (our Elf) is up to all sorts of shenanigans, we have decked our halls, and are wearing as many Christmas pajamas as we can.  

One of our favorite annual traditions is our Grinchmas night.  We may have upped our game some this year compared to years past.

Up first was as friendly game of Battleship with Grinch and Clyde.

Carson helped me get our dinner table ready.  We found the Grinchmas sign in the middle from Hobby Lobby as well as the Grinch trays.  We used wrapping paper to cover the table.  

Carson was so proud of our table.

Most people who celebrate Grinchmas have roast beast, who hash, who pudding, and so on.  That is not our style.  We love all things breakfast food so we always have green waffles and bacon.  This year we made some green fruit punch.  We found some green fruit punch sherbet and added some sprite to it. 

Our Grinchmas dinner was so good and Carson loved it.
