Strawberry Sauce

Monday night seemed like the night for some summer fun at our house.  I had some fresh strawberries that I needed to use and decided to make a strawberry sauce with them.  

I found this recipe online.  I made it using 1 cup of strawberries and changed the amounts of everything else to make up for that change.  

It didn't make much but it was plenty for us to have some on Monday night and again tonight.

We decided to go for a walk outside while it cooled.

He is so close to pedaling on his own.  I can't believe that in just a few months he will be TWO!  

We came back inside and put our strawberry sauce over some Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.  Yummy.

Not a bad way to end summer.
