Weekend Recap: Santa Style
How in the world is it the Monday before Christmas? Bring on the short week. I only have 3 1/2 days this week. I can make it.
We had a great weekend and we are all ready for Christmas!
Thursday night ended with someone trying on his new winter gear. I think he looks so much older in his coat and hat.
Friday night was our Adult Small Group Christmas Party. Carson went over to Grammy and Pappy's house to play and apparently that did not last too long.
While little man slept, Mommy and Daddy enjoyed appetizers and desserts which included bacon wrapped smokies and Peanut Butter Cheesecake. We also played some minute to win it games.
Saturday we spent the day around the house. I went and bought groceries and saved a ton using my coupons and rebate apps. Woohoo. That night we had church and had Miltons afterwards for a church family dinner. I wish I had pictures of Carson putting away the lasagna and alfredo, but he must have been eating too fast for me. He was one hungry kiddo.
Sunday we had 70 degree weather after freezing rain the day before. Oh North Carolina. We were thankful for the nice weather because we saw some sheep and goats at church.
After church we were all very hungry and thought Chili's was the answer. Carson agreed 100% and ate his entire bowl of mac and cheese and was still saying more.
He used all of his energy for lunch to be a good little boy to meet Santa. Santa told him he should ask for trains and trucks. We will see little buddy.
We hope you all have a great week! The countdown to Christmas is on.
