Weekend Recap: Outside Time

Happy Monday friends!  I hope you all survived the storms this weekend.  Our power flickered a few times but it stayed on.  We spent most of our weekend outside and loved every minute of it.  

Friday night we opted for pizza and salad before heading to Home Depot.  We knew it would be a zoo on Saturday and we also wanted an earlier start outside on Saturday.  Good decision.

Carson wanted to carry all of the daisies to the porch.  He thought he was hot stuff.  

We were up bright and early on Saturday. 

 We had our Sausage Pinwheels and then it was off to work outside.

Carson really did help and we loved having his help.  

We finished most of the mulch and then decided it was time for a lunch break.  We wanted to go get burgers.

Carson wanted a hot dog but Greg and I enjoyed our burgers.  He got an Orangeade too and loved it.  We also were big fans of the new seating area at The Burger Shop.

After lunch it was back home to finish up outside and naptime for Carson.  

Someone woke up early and wanted to play with his new things from Amazon.  Greg had mowed while Carson was napping.

I love how new mulch looks.

We ended our night grilling and an early bedtime.  We were all worn out.

Sunday morning we were up for church and someone chose to drink most of my smoothie.

But he looked so handsome when Mrs. Susan took his picture at church.

We headed home for naps and some rearranging.  Pappy and Uncle Josh stopped by and then we decided to turn the couch cushions into our little diving area.

We spent the rest of our evening waiting on the storms to come.  We also may have got our kite stuck in the tree.  Luckily we got it out before the storms came.
