Vacation Recap

Happy Monday friends!  I hope you are all having a great day so far.  We all struggled to get up this morning and get back in the swing of things.  Vacation is over and a hurricane is coming.  Oh joy.

We left out at 4am on September 1st to head to Tennessee for the week.  We made a stop about half way at Starbucks and someone flirted with the barista.  She gave Carson a cup of whipped cream.  It pays to be cute.

We pulled in to Rock Island State Park about lunch time and were so excited to see our family.  One of us thought he was a big kid and took part in the water balloon fight.

We spent all day Sunday and Monday on the water.  I couldn't get in the water because of my stitches but the boys loved it.

We hiked the falls on Tuesday and they were beautiful.

We went to see my Mom's parents that evening and Carson loved playing with Titus.  Cousins make the best friends.

We were up early on Wednesday to drive to Atlanta for the Braves game.  The Braves lost but we had a blast.

On the way back to the state park, we stopped for pizza in Chattanooga.  We loved it.  

We also may have to recreate this picture when the boys are older.

Thursday morning we headed to Nashville to see something that I've wanted to see for years.  We went to the Ryman!

I loved it.  Greg and I both said that our hair was standing up on our arms just thinking about who all had been in this building.  

We made the drive home after the Ryman and got in a little after midnight.  It was a busy week but a fun week.
