Weekend Recap: A Little Bit of Everything Style
It's Monday friends. Today marks 7 years since I moved to North Carolina. That is crazy to me. What is even crazier is that 7 years ago, I had never heard of Greg and now we are married and have a crazy little buddy who we are crazy about.
Here is a peek into our weekend...
Friday night was our Dinner Club night with some friends from our small group. I didn't take any pictures because we were having too much fun. However, when we got home we learned that someone had so much fun he slept through his dirty diaper change.
Saturday morning meant swim lessons for the buddy. We decided to leave a little earlier so we could eat Chick-fil-A before swim lessons. On our way, we saw this.
I'm sorry sir but this is not the kind of advertising that is going to win my business.
Carson enjoyed practicing his Moo skills before his breakfast came. We love some Chick-fil-A breakfast. With full tummies, we went to swim lessons.
After swim lessons we headed to Mommy's favorite store, Hobby Lobby. We bought several pieces to change up Carson's room. Hopefully later this week, we can show the finished product.
After Hobby Lobby, it was off to Sam's for some groceries and lunch for $6.20. The giant crayon filled with Megabloks was a birthday present for our friend turning 1.
Someone said they were not tired after all of that, but you are not fooling anyone kiddo. I went to Walmart while he napped to finish up some groceries.
Someone decided to play nice on Saturday night with his friends. These two are too cute.
So are these two! I love my boys so much.
Apparently Carson and I were worn out from Saturday. We both slept til 8:15 on Sunday morning which hasn't happened for me in years.
I started our Crockpot Beef & Broccoli before we left for church. Yummy!
After church we went to a birthday party for our friend Logan. It was at Sassafras All Children's Playground. It was such a fun park. It won't be our last visit. Carson though was a huge fan of the second part of the birthday party.
What could be better than the Kona Shaved Ice Truck making a pit stop at the birthday party!
We came home, added our broccoli to the crockpot and enjoyed listening to the thunderstorm. We all got cleaned up from being so hot at the party.
Dude, you're busted. You can't turn around for a second with this munchkin. We hope you all had a great weekend! We sure did, but man we are tired.
