Friday Favorites

It is finally Friday and holy cow I have not blogged in days!!  This has been a long week.  I'm ready for some time with my boys.
I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika and Narci for Friday Favorites.

I can't get over this weather.  It is February and we have been having days in the 70s for almost two weeks in North Carolina.  It is crazy but we are loving it.

The only downside is the need for allergy medicine so early. However, the park wins over fighting allergies.

Another favorite this week has been the smell of cinnamon filling our house.  I'm in the process of baking 50+ pans of cinnamon rolls.  It is crazy but so much fun.  I'm selling each pan for $10 and that money is going to help my friends Cameron and Amy adopt a baby.  I can't wait to meet this sweet baby.
If you only knew how much butter and powdered sugar was at my house.

Carson's favorite was hanging out with two of his favorite girls this past weekend.  I promise he did have fun.  I'm quite positive he saw someone with food and is trying to figure out how he can get some.
He also loved the bubbles at the birthday party.

My favorite of the week is Carson in his new shirt.  We have some Star Wars fans in our house.

Another favorite this past week has been all of the crazy facial expressions.

We are cookie lovers in our house so before our cinnamon roll bake-a-thon began we made these cookies.  We did all chocolate chips this time.

And just in case you need a laugh.  I saw this yesterday and cracked up.

Happy Friday everyone!  Enjoy your weekend.

Life Lately: Valentine's Style

Life lately has included a lot of kleenex.  I feel like one of us has been sniffly for the last few weeks and then you add in the stomach bug that took all three of us down.  We are all ready to feel 100%.

This week included lots of family time at home.  This past weekend was so warm so we played outside a lot.
Tuesday night we continued our tradition of having Valentine's Day celebrations at home.  This year we made Shay's Meatball Mozzarella Bake and it was a big hit.
 All Aboard the Love Train!
I love when he comes home with crafts from daycare!
Someone finally got the hang of opening a present.  He was so excited about his stuffed giraffe.

I'm enjoying my flowers and the brownies that we made!  That is the best kind of life lately I can think of.

Show and Tell Tuesday: My Loves

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  I hope you are all enjoying your chocolate today but remember you can get all the chocolate you want tomorrow for 50% off.

It is also Show and Tell Tuesday today over on Andrea's blog so I'm linking up and sharing all about my loves.
Greg and I are a little over a month from celebrating 5 years of marriage.  Time flies when you are having fun.  We met in late October of 2010, at least we think we did.  We can't remember.  We starting spending time with each other in early 2011 and by March 27 of that year he asked me if he could tell people already that we were dating.  Why yes Greg, you can.  He proposed on October 29th of 2011 at the Biltmore and we got married on March 24, 2012.

Greg and I were opposites in many ways but compliment each other better than I could have ever imagined.  He is my best friend and keeps me in check.  He has mastered giving me the look.  I love the life that we have and I know that we are just getting started.

That brings me to my littlest love and he goes by the name of Carson James.  Carson is a perfect blend of Greg and I.  He adds new levels of crazy to our house and we love it.  He has masted the eyebrow raise and can work the eyelashes to get what he wants.  He is a charmer and has the best laugh.  We love him something fierce.  He also eats us out of our house which is not good when you realize that he is only 14 months old.  I'm dreading the teenage boy years.

I love both of my boys so much!

Happy Valentine's Day and see you in a few weeks for the next Show and Tell Tuesday.
