Holiday Express

Hey everyone!  Sunday night we went to the Holiday Express at Pullen Park.  I was going to put it in our weekend recap from yesterday but we had too many pictures so it needed its own post.

I had to buy our tickets back in July.  I logged on as soon as they went live and they sold out in like 15 minutes I think.  It was worth every penny.  We loved it!

We walked in and got our map for the evening.  We got there at 4 when it opened.  When you bought your ticket you had to pick your train time then.  We had a 6:00 train time.  We knew that we would probably only last a few hours so we decided to end with the train ride.

We had our map and went and got our time to meet Santa.  After we got in the text line for Santa we headed off to the carousel.  Normally at Pullen Park, it is free to get in but the carousel rides and train rides are $1 each.  We paid $10 for this night and you had one train ride, unlimited carousel rides and everything else you are about to see.

Someone was not having it to get on the horse in the carousel so we all rode in the sleigh in it.  We were greeted by some firemen when we got off and they gave Carson a glow stick and some stickers.
We then were off to write our letter to Santa.

He asked for a bouncy ball, some playdoh and some cars.  We stamped the letter and put it in the mail box.

We then headed off to make reindeer food.

Then it was off to make a snowman and a snowman ornament.

Time to go meet Santa!
Meeting Santa went a little better this time.  He liked it better when Mommy & Daddy sat too.

We went to play on the playground a little after meeting Santa and got candy cane glasses.  When you look through them all of the Christmas lights become candy canes.

Time for our train ride!

We had a great time and can't wait to go back again.

Merry Christmas everyone.
