Weekend Recap

It's the last week of September and 3 months until Christmas.  This year is flying by and so did my weekend.  

Friday night we started our weekend with chicken nachos before heading to Sam's.  I know, we know how to have fun on a Friday night.

I was up at 5:15 on Saturday morning and could not go back to sleep.  I did a few things around the house and by 7:00 am we were eating biscuits and gravy.

I tried to go by Lidl right at 8 to pick up some things but when I walked there was not a single thing in any of the refrigerators because they were not working.  I put the cart away and walked out.  When 99.5% of your list involves cold things, you don't waste your time getting the one thing that is not cold.  Boo Lidl on that one.  The store has only been open for a few months.

It was off to haircut time for the buddy.  He does so great and he always looks so big.  We realized his shoes looked a little tight so he moved up to size 7 in toddler shoes on Saturday.  Someone hold me, he is getting big too fast.

Look how cute he is and yes Miss Marley is so cute herself too.  We had planned to hit up the Fall Festival downtown after the haircut but it was so hot.  Instead we went to look at animals at the pet store.  Someone loved looking at the fish and pointed out Nemo and Dory as well.

I think a fish is in our future.

We went to look at some luggage after talking to the fish.

He wanted to spin the suitcases everywhere.  He did push the one we picked out all across the store to the cashier and paused for a lady to walk by him.

By then, we had worked up an appetite so off to Jersey Mikes we went for some lunch.  Some of us napped that afternoon while the rest of us picked up and played drums before heading to church.

We also enjoyed checking out the new screen at church.  So awesome!  What a great Saturday.

We were up early for church on Sunday and after church we went to the park with some of our middle school students to play kickball and have a picnic.  Someone enjoyed hanging with the big kids.

We had a great weekend.  We all went to bed early on Sunday night.
