Weekend Recap: Memorial Day Weekend

If you are like me, getting up was not easy this morning.  We had a fun filled weekend.

Friday night we relaxed at home and had Italian Sausages with our very favorite sweet potato waffle fries.  We took it easy and loved being in our pajamas by 7:00.

Saturday morning we decided it was a good morning for Brigs.  Carson loves to get the egg and bacon basket.  It is a lot of food for a little guy and Mommy has no problem helping him with his home fries.
Carson takes his coloring seriously while we wait for breakfast.

After breakfast, I went to the gym and did this.
While the boys went to Home Depot.  They came and picked me up and we went by Walmart on our way home for our grocery pickup.

We spent the rest of the morning mowing and picking up the house.  Saturday  night we went to church where someone had fun with their friend.
We ended our night at Taco Bell and someone waved at everyone he saw.

Sunday we went to church and then grabbed lunch on the way home.  We came home and we had a delivery.  Someone loves his new Baby Groot.

We spent the afternoon getting ready for our Middle School Ministry Memorial Day Cookout.  We had a 'Merica theme.  Our shirts are both from Amazon.

We didn't win but we had fun.  We also were so full from all of our snacks too.  On the way home we saw this sunset.  This picture does not do it justice.
Monday we went to Greg's parents for lunch.  Greg's Dad is great on the grill.  He grilled some steak tips, burgers, and corn on the cob.  It was so good.

Monday night we had dinner at our friends house and the boys decided to swim.

Carson loved it.  We are happy about that because his lessons start in a few weeks.
Carson also was pretty excited about eating his ice cream too.  He is a fan of pool days.

We hope you all had a great weekend.  I should have put on more eye cream last night.  My eyes look so sleepy today.
