Weekend Recap: Mother's Day Style

I hope all of you had a great Mother's Day.  I loved the time with my boys.  

Friday night we went to a friends house for a band hangout night.  Carson hung out with the grandparents.  I did not take any pictures that night but I did take this pic from my friends Facebook showing the dessert we had.  Hello Dulce de Leche Cheesecake.

Saturday morning we began our day with breakfast at Chick-fil-A because why not.  Carson always loves a fun breakfast.

We hit up Home Depot afterwards to get some new plants for Mommy.  We tried the Hydrangeas but the way our house sits, they did not work.  

Mommy and Daddy had fun planting flowers outside

while the buddy had fun taking a nap inside

I have no idea how that is comfortable.  

We went to church early for Daddy to give drum lessons and Carson and I played on the playground.  He rocked his new Garth Brooks shirt.  Target has some of the coolest shirts. 

After church we went to Taco Bell because apparently that is what all of the cool kids do on Saturday night.

Sunday morning was a mad rush to get ready for church with an epic breakfast casserole fail.  Boo. After church we went to Crazy Fire for lunch with Greg's family and then got ice cream.  

We then came home to water the flowers and Carson thought he should be watered apparently.  He was soaked from head to toe in a matter of minutes.  He decided he should play shirtless after that.  

We ended our day with Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup and watched Derek Jeter night on Sunday Night Baseball.  Well done Captain.
