Show and Tell Tuesday: My Hometown

It's Show and Tell Tuesday over on Momfessionals and today is all about our hometowns.   I've been looking forward to this one for a while.

I grew up in the small town of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  Now that I live in the Raleigh area, I tell people that Siloam Springs is the town listed on the back of all of your Dayspring greeting cards.

I loved growing up in Siloam Springs.  We moved there when I was four for my Dad to start college at John Brown University.  The plan was to move there for him to go to school and then move back to Tennessee.  That did not happen.  I lived their until I moved away to college.  My parents lived in Siloam Springs until 2012.  20 years and a lot of memories for all of us.

I loved going to the Dogwood Festival each year, the Christmas parade, cheering on the Panthers, going to JBU activities like the famous Toilet Paper Basketball game, and so many other things.  It is a great place to grow up.

Check out this cute little video about my hometown.

    1. It is. I still smile when I pick up a Dayspring card and see it.
